They're probably the same as the 'womens' line but with added aftershave fragrance and black packaging to make it manly ;)

Hey Crissi--way way, back in the day, when we were saying it loud--I'm black and i'm proud:lachen:
Back when the 'revolution will not be televised' days.:D Proline comb thru is what we used to get the fro big and wide. Like Angela Davis. Can't say for sure if its the same formula right now. I can say that it left the hair really soft. Or maybe the softeness came after we hit it with the Afro Sheen spray:lol: BTW I was just a child lol
Thanks for this thread---it made me smile:)

Well i was on 360wavez and they would reccomend the comb thru they said it makes hair REALLY sofy, and i already like the proline sof sheen so if this is as good as it claims it could become my staple!

I don't see why we can't use men hair products. My mother used WildRoot in my hair growing up and I had long hair back then. I occasionally use it in my hair now and it makes it very soft and manageable. Also, I use it in my 7 month old daughter hair and I love they way it makes her hair feel and smell.

The only thing is that the only place I can find it is at Walgreen's in the men's section and my mom found a small thing at Dollar General.

LOL! this is true...I am sure it wouldn't hurt to use it, I would assume that most hair products geared for men can be used by women. The pics on the containers are just targeted towards men for marketing reasons.
