I'm trying to figure out how to add comparison shots to this thread by cutting and pasting. I wanted to share my prgress from 8-2908 until today, 9-23-08. Well I have the results in my fokti.

Thanks! I couldn't believe it. I can hardly wait until we reveal our entire heads in December. I think I'm going to do mine in November for my one year natural growth journey.

What is ur megatek regime?

I started out using Ovation and added some castor oil and coconut oil to it. I then mixed in some Mega-Tek. After that, I started using straight Mega-Tek to my scalp. I would then spray my head with a mixture of coconut oil, black castor oil, and carefree curl. I saw the most growth with the Mega-Tek without the oil mixed in it. I am in a weave so I haven't had a reason to try to straighten it. I love Mega-Tek!

OK!!! I saw your progress. How can anyone not be a believer? Your hair not only got longer, but thicker as well. Great progress. Can you image where we will be this time next year? I'm chasing that bar strap and plan on catching it within th enext year and a half.

This was my first week on MT... I had a ton of shedding this morning... I had combatted it with garlic before...and me and the OCT were starting to get along...but there must be something different in this MT... I lost a newborn's head of hair this morning... After that I mixed some castor and SAA in it because I was using it straight.

I noticed that when I mixed the MT with oils my hair was not as dry but I didn't get the same results as using it straight. I'm in a sew-in right now, so I've been using the straight MT at night on the scalp of the hair I left out (the nape and front) and co-washing in the morning. From there, I apply my mixture of OCT/MT/black castor oil/coconut oil/carefree curl to my entire scalp by using an applicator bottle with the pink tip that has 5 or 6 tips on it. I then lay my hair down with some IC gel and tie it with a scarf. When I get to work, I untie it (it's still wet) and let it dry throughout the day. I don't know what I'm going to once it gets colder here. Well I guess I could do the same thing, only wear a hat to work and take the scarf off. It's always so hot in our school building. Anyway, I try to do this everyday, but if I don't I just add some more OCT to my scalp under the tracks and straight MT on the scalp under the hair that left out, add some carefree curl to the front and back, add a bit more of gel and keep it moving. I also keep my nape area braided because you can't see it under the weave. I rebraid it every other day or so. You can see my little braid in my fokti.
