Are there anyone with less 1" hair using Mega-tek? If so, how are you using it, mixed or straight; leave-in or rinse out; and how does you hair feel with this product? Please respond back.

i have about 4 inches of hair and just did a bc this past weekend after a little less than a year of transitioning. ive used megatek the same way since i was transitioning and even now that in in micro twists. i use a 4oz applicator bottle and usea about half oil mixture and the rest with mega tek. it depends on what i feel like and what i have around for the oils i use. currently i have jojoba oil, a small dollap of cater oil to thicken it up a bit, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil and apricot kernel oil. i make my own scalp oils so i know what sits well in my hair and works for my scalp and i try to use these in both my megatek and sulfur oil mixtures. i just oil my scalp at night lightly with the mix and rub it in. the oils prevent the megatek from having as much build up and chalky residue and feel afterwards and it also oils my scalp. i do this everyother night and use my sulfur mix the nights in between. i dont put a lot of the mix on just enough to oil my scalp.

I just started using Megatak almost 3 weeks ago. So far I like what I feel. I apply it everynight to my scalp only mixed with castor oil. I wash it with Nexxus Therappe every Sunday. Then I sit under my heating cap to deep condition with Humectress for anywhere from 30 to 60 min immediately afterward. I started taking garlic pills a week before I started this treatment. I haven't had any shedding so far. I noticed that the wave pattern of my hair has loosen and looks and feels softer. IBefore treatment my hair was 5" in the front and 4" in the back. haven't paid much attetion to my hair length over the past 3 weeks on purpose. I will remeasure it in another week or two to see if there has been any significant growth. I wear my hair in pin curls daily as a protective style. Hope this helps.
