May PJ Challenge Update

How is everyone doing? I've been really busy lately and haven't had much time to come to the board, so that's helping me alot. I'm still hanging strong and I don't even have to urge to purchase anything. I'm still lokking good on staples so no need to restock. I still have yet to pick up the Kenra though.

Now all of a sudden I'm hearing about this Biolage leave it tonice and this Joico conditioner....AND I HAVE TO HAVE IT!!!
ok, I feel a little better after my outburst

But this is harder than I thought it was gonna be......and did I mention that I had always wanted to try the Elasta QP glaze

Someone started a thread on that too.........But I needed this, I'm moving and I just gathered my stuff in one big ole bag and it IS ridiculous.
Only 19 days left until June!!!

Don't go to Wegman's, it is an accident waiting to happen...I went before the challenge and the hair care aisle is impressive.

Really? I was just coming in this thread to say I hadn't bought anything since my last BSS trip (even though I'm not on the challenge)... Now you've got me thinking to find myself a Wegman's and see what they have...

I won't buy anything though.

Not to tempt you. But, it is on Route 28 beside Car Max. The store itself is amazing. It is like the Disney World of grocery stores.

I am doing okay so far. I have been using all of the products in my stash. Last week, I used CB Smoothe Triple Silk Moisturizing Conditioner. It is very similar to the Keracare Humecto. I will keep experimenting with other in house products this week.

I'm glad to see you ladies still hanging in there. I know it can hard sometimes. Being a PJ ain't easy. It takes dedication

I know it's hard, but don't tempt yourselves like that. I'm actually having fun testing old products and fine tuning what works for my hair. I'm probably gonna get rid of some stuff after the challenge is over.

This is my first product challenge and I am doing very well. I don't even have the desire to buy anything at the moment. I believe that I am doing well with the products that I have. Thank you guys for being supportive, because I really didn't think I could do this.

I'm doing great on the challenge. I picked my Kenra this week as I said I would. Unfortunately, I ran out of Aveda Elixir which I use every day so I will pick up more of that tonite. No new products though!

I fell in! I brought the John Frieda Dream curls, mousse and silk finisher. But wait ....does it still count if I haven't used them yet?

I promise I won't use them until June!

If it's a staple and a repurchase, then you're still good to go. You just can't go out and buy anything new.

This is my first *successful* PJ Challenge.

I've been good. I went to Sally's yesterday and bought some hair combs that I threw away in my move out of the dorms last week. I didn't even pick up some of the products I'd been wanting.

Ok, WHY when I walked into my supermarket today, they redid one of the aisles and they now put hair product there.....WHY did they have products like BIOLAGE, TIGI, JOICO....all of the things that I CANNOT buy because I'm in the MAY PJ CHALLENGE?!?!?!

I went grocery shopping last friday and all that stuff was NOT IN THERE!

They ain't right.....they ain't right at all.....

The SAME thing happened to me when I came home and went to the local grocery story. TIGI, Nature's Gate, Pantene, ALL that good stuff was sitting on the aisle tempting me when all I came in for was some grape jelly.
