Rinse: 10 minutes with plastic cap covered by a satin-lined shower cap
Deep Condition: 30 minutes with plastic cap covered by a satin-lined shower cap
Detangling/Styling: 30 minutes, used my L.O.G method (leave-in, oil, gel). Detangled with a wide-toothed shower comb and fingers with hair in sections.

Ladies...the DIY Brown Rice Water& Fenugreek Seed Pre-p00/Rinse is absolutely amazing. I'm so glad I jumped on the bandwagon for this one. Shedding and tangles are virtually non-existent. My eczema and breakage has been significantly reduced. My coils are extra defined and maintain moisture for longer, with no frizz. And...I just happened to do a length check and I've officially reached BSL (not full BSL yet, but it's getting there :afro:)

finally finished my hair a few minutes ago, I had to whip some shea butter which took forever, but that is for another thread.

This weekend I washed with Hennasooq Neem and Cassia (or Cassia and neem?) hair wash. First time using it was nice not too stripping just enough if you want to do a henna or keratin treatment. I will definately use this in the future. Then I applied Henna with about 50 grams of Hibiscus powder I let is sit for a few hous then applied and slept in the this. Happy to report nothing was stained in the morning! I rinsed htis morning and applied a mixture of conditioners, and some powder, then I applied Dry remedy halfway through the day.

This evening I rinsed then applied a mask with PM the detangler (I had some knots I had not dealt with). Combed and out put it in four braids to airdry.

Saturday Night
Prepoo with Faith In Nature Seaweed & Citrus con + warmed safflower and rice bran oil.

Sunday (ended up being all day)
Shampood scalp with Redken Cleansing Cream.
DIY Hydrated Fenugreek mask+ Camille Rose Coconut Water Penetrating Treatment.

Monday
Rinse- my hair felt smooth and soft.
SSI Blueberry Cowash.
Rice water and hibiscus rinse.
Shea butter mix on ends.
Diluted KCCC throughout (waiting for my hair to dry now).

Last night I used up my last jar of JMonique's Naturals Dead Sea Hair Mud to prepoo overnight instead of using my CO Overnight Hair Mask.

I'll be wearing my hair in a bun for a couple of days. Right now I have it nicely moisturized and gelled down to bun it.

@GGsKin, how do you make the above hydrated fenugreek mask please? I saw it before but didn't know it was something you can make. Unless I've seen it but clearly don't recall where. Thanks

@Aggie
@mzteaze posted an Italian video in the Fenugreek thread in Feb (reposted there just the other day) that shows the preparation very well.

It's just fenugreek (powdered) and water. Slowly add hot/warm water to 1-2 tbsp of powdered fenugreek, stirring vigorously, and allowing the mix and to absorb the water and thicken, before adding more. The consistency should be like pudding. Keep adding water, mixing and leaving to absorb and produce mucilage. The fenugreek is only properly hydrated after 8-12 hrs.

I ground up my seeds to create the powder. After 12 hrs, the husk from the seeds did not dissolve so I ended up straining through a muslin cloth and got this:2019-05-05_15.37.13.jpg
