Obviously, its Xmas Eve and I have nothing better to do. Last night, I CW'd with Mane 'n Tail conditioner and braided it up. I am 7 weeks post relaxer.
I was sitting around tonight and decided to give my Maxiglide a trial run since I've had it since mid-September
I prepped with SoftSheen-Carson Ant-Breakage heat protectant. I set the dial on 5.
Here's my braidout with a Maxiglide test piece in the front

I'm not overly impressed. My Chi does the same thing, but the Maxiglide does give more body. I changed the toothy plate out for the flat one because I could feel it tearing my hair even after I did a comb through
I think I may be holding it too tight also.
This is my first attempt, so I will give it another try sometime next month.
