Maxiglide ladies

I have the Mp and I love it! I got the Sedu back in November/December and it gets the hair very straight... but, it's lifeless and too straight! My hair felt wirey after each use... and I never turned all the way up either. My hair has life with the MP and I LOVE the steam burst for my ends. My hair is so silky after using the maxiglide. It's well worth every penny. I'm still scared of the teeth so I can't give a review on that aspect.

Don't use it daily. I'd say once a week or every other week.

This was yesterday evening. I used my maxiglide @ 7 in the morning!

ETA: My AVI is also the result of the Maxiglide

It straightens well but using too often w/the teeth can damage your ends. I was using it monthly and started to get splits but it might have more to do w/my texture.

So ladies, how safe is it to use? Could I use it everyday because its steam heat, or should I still only use it like once a week or something? And does it get your hair BONE STR8 or do you find that you have to go over it with another flat iron to get that look? Thanks for all the responses. I absoultely love you ladies!

It is safe, but it is also a heat appliance...so use with caution and moderation.
I would not recommend using everyday. I only plan on using it during the later weeks of my stretch, and I will be spacing my uses to every 2 weeks.

You can use the teeth or the flat plate, to get that sleek look, no need to use another iron.
Sylver said that you should not press iron down all the way, when using the teeth. That technique worked for me.

It works great and is worth every penny. I have the original one and only used it twice. A setting of 3 gets my 3c/4a hair straight with the teeth and without steam. I've never used the steam burst.

Do not use it everyday.
