I am so sorry to hear that; think your hair smells burnt now, try a Chi flatiron!!!

Which flat iron are you using? I don't think that I would get a chi because it doesn't have adjustable temperature settings.

try using it on a lower setting, i haven't gotten any burnt hair smell.

yes! I've had it for about two years i think And when that burnt smell came it went in the garbage...... I'm looking for another iron that wont get that burnt smell...........

Mine is over 3 years old. I wonder if that is also contributing to the smell.
