Hi Ladies!

I just received my maxi glide flat iron yesterday and I did a test run on my bangs.

My question is...Is it better to use the iron with or without the pins? I ask because the pins seems sort of harsh and hard and I don't want anything popping off my precious strands.

Does it work just as well using the flat surface only??

TIA

Most definately with! i was scurred at first 2 so what you should do is before flat ironing a particular section, fine tooth comb it first... i do my whole head that way and i lose no more than 5-15 strands.

Ok, thanks!! I am going to do my whole head sometime today and I just wanted to be sure!

you just gotta be careful....its not like the flat irons we been using, you cant squeeze it tight or it will rip your hair out, if you have to force it, then you havent detangled your hair enough....but definitely use the pins....even maxius says that the flat plate is just like any other flat iron and it wont give you the pretty pretty youre going for :D

yep... what shatani said :) you don't have to squeeze hard at all, just litely hold it closed and post pics when ur done :)

O.K. so no sqeezing either. That's going to take some getting used to. I have to squeeze with my other iron! I will make sure to comb through first also.

Thanks ladies!
