Hey e-Cousins! :grouphug:

What Are YOUR Weekly Hair Plans?:brainy:....:scratchchin:
Hello stranger,

I hope you're well, I'm very glad to see you're still here:)

After a bit of hair porn on YouTube and Insta, I've decided that I'm ready to get back into my hair game. Renewed my membership and here I am.

Plans for this weekend are to:
Clarify
Deep condition
Trim my ends

I'm starting slow, keeping it simple trying to get steady and get my grow back on.

What happened to all the challenges? No WL challenge for 2025?

Hey ladies! My 7 year lockaversary is next month on the 23rd, and I was going to do my retightening the week of. But, I have been contemplating doing it this weekend. I may also oil my scalp again when I'm finished.

Last weekend I deep conditioned the way I used to as a loose natural and it was heavenly. I don't know what took me so long to do it; I think I was just apprehensive about the ingredients being trapped in my locks.

My hair felt super nourished, soft, and well hydrated/moisturized. I also felt extremely relaxed afterwards. I don't know if I can do it every week, ( I definitely should have tried it years ago) but I'd like to at least aim for reincorporating it back into my routine once a month. Definitely a game changer.

Pre-poo with steam, shampoo, protein conditioner, Moisturizing conditioner, dry in fat twists. I’ll retwist tomorrow.
I used Pattern products as my base (shampoo, breakage barrier mask, treatment mask, Heavy Conditioner, plus Leave-in).
I added a little Dudley’s DRC 28 to the treatment mask to make it a heavier protein treatment. I also added a few drops of my CurlyProverbs Pepper and Garlic Hit Oil to it as well.
I added CurlyProverbz Amla Pro Thickness powder to the Heavy Conditioner.

My scalp was still feeling irritated from coloring my hair some weeks ago. I stuck with mostly the staples this time. Alodia saved the day!!
Put my hair in eight braids and my bangs split into two twists. Hopefully, I will have time to put my hair in twists but if not I will keep my hair in the braids.
