Thanks to the thread here, I've started following a capillary maintenance schedule, not for any specific damage control reasons, but just to time my treatments with some consistency.
I chelated and reconstructed last week, so this is a hydration-focused week for me, which means the plan for Saturday is:
Pre-poo: EVCO (overnight on Friday)
Cleanse: Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo
Hydration D/C: Joico Moisture Recovery Balm (this has been a staple of mine since my relaxed days and I am obsesssssed w/ how easily my high porosity natural hair just soaks this up in a few min. exactly... the way it says your hair should on the package, instead of literal hours like it used to lol ♡)
Cuticle Sealant: Roux Porosity Control Conditioner
Oil Rinse: EVOO
*Rinse-Out/Leave-In: SM Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner + Aussie 3 Min. Miracle Moist (*s2c method)
Sealants: Fantasia IC Aloe serum + raw, unrefined shea butter (Kuza brand)
Light/Botanical Gel: FOTE Aloe Vera Gel
Holding Gel: Fantasia IC Gel
As for a style, I'm gonna let my hair air dry in a wash and go fro and then stretch it overnight by banding in sections. ☆
It seems like a lot, but tbh, the time it takes only comes down to how anal I'm being about defining my WnG. If I don't need it to look perfect or anything, I get through most of these steps within an hour or so seeing as my treatments after the coconut oil pre-poo are only left on as long as it takes me to get through each section in the shower (I usually do anywhere from 4 to 8) so I'm satisfied with it for now.
(((P.S. This is my first post back after a long hiatus on this acct, so hiii again, ladies~ ♥︎)))
