Manuka Honey

I want to purchase this honey to use as a treatment since it's locally available. But I read somewhere that it's fake and not the best out there. For people who use honey what type do you use? Have you used this brand?

I think the issue was just the brand, and it’s somewhere in the skincare forum. I use a brand in a purple jar, ES ESO or something (sorry, I can’t remember) but there are other brands that are good. You just have to make sure the active factor is above 16; anything lower is just regular honey.

Also, um.... I would not recommend using this for hair. It’s too expensive. If you are sold on it, ok, or maybe mix into conditioner, but raw clover honey or even creamer honey is good.

I use manuka for allergies and like 15+ manuka, Happy Valley brand (Amazon), but it's too expensive for hair (IMO). I just use regular ole honey for hair -- off the shelf or local honey purchased from honey farmers alongside the road.
