Mango Butter or Shea Butter?

What's a good moistorizer that softens hair? My hair is extremely dry and I wanted to know if you had any suggestions. I heard alot about mango butter and shea butter but if you know of anything else, please let a sista know! LOL thanx

I use shea butter or Surge Oil. Both leave my hair very soft. However, shea butter leaves my hair a little too moist/greasy so I have to wear it up.

I prefer shea butter for my hair. Mango butter is good to use on the skin though

Following the advice of many of my "sisters in the name of hair"

, I just tried the Mango butter mixed w/ the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shine Serum and let me tell you,.....MOISTURE AND SHINE FOR DAYS, girl!

(actually, this is just DAY 2 of using this but why is my hair still the bomb?) Please please try both products! I LOVE the whole Elasta line and even though I think Neutrogena's "skincare" products are

, I'm LOVING the Triple Moisture Hair stuff!

I've tried both and i prefer shea butter. I have it in my hair now, it even tames any and all flyaways

CH are u talking about pure shea butter? If so, that stuff is heavvvvvvy.

no, i am talking about ORS shea butter. That stuff is light and ubercreamy

I love it.
I'm going to try braiding my daughter's hair with it and see how '2gether' it stays.

ORS Shea Butter? That stull was aweful on my hair, I'm glad someone likes it. I have an almost full bottle if you want it.

ETA: When I was talking about mango butter for the skin I meant 100% mango butter...

Hi Bollyhair- When you use the mango butter/triple moisture are u letting your hair air dry?
