Making Rod Sets Last.. Pineapple Or Large Bonnet

which method do you think preserved curls the longest.. Putting hair up in pineapple at night or just wearing a large bonnet and hopefully not smooshing your curls.

Pineapple loosely to not overstretch your curls. I use a banana clip to pineapple. Keep the ends flipped toward your face so you don't smush the curls.

I voted pineapple. When I pineapple my rod sets they last a week. If I just throw on a bonnet they last 3 days max.

Well so far this time the large bonnet has won with me in terms of keeping my spiral rollerset.. 2 weeks ago I tried the pineapple method and my curls did not last as long and my curls were stretched. The first pic is day 2 the last pic is day 4

I voted large bonnet for rod/roller sets. My hair sets into a permanent vertical shape whenever I pineapple. I would have to mist it; thus reverting my style.

Thats knda what happened to my hair the last time I tried the pineapple method

Type 4 hair - bonnet. Pineapple hair up will stay molded up in that pineapple position and hair will not come down.
