Hi, ladies! I've been having trouble washing my daughters' hair lately. They are both taller than I am and lately, they've been complaining about having to hold their heads down in the kitchen sink, to get their hair washed.
Can any of you tell me if there is a product out there, that braces the neck and allows the hair to be washed sitting down, instead of standing up?
Something like that would be ingeniuos! Should I patent this idea? Hopefully, someone has already thought of this and has it available for purchase.

There are those funnel things that salons often use on elderly women. It's like a open showercap that has a funnel that flows the water and shampoo into the sink allowing the person to sit upright. Or you can have them lay on an ironing board like I did when I was little! lol I moreso suggest the former, not the latter.

Find a store that sells home medical supplies. A friend of mine broke her leg and had to buy a tray thingy so her husband could shampoo her hair.

I have one of these. Works very well. Check with your local medical supply stores - they should be able to get one for you. I think I paid about $40 for mine.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. And my daughter thanks you too.

ETA: The shower cap funnel things don't work on a little kid's head. I laughed at that thing but my daughter didn't think it was too funny and neither did the floor.

I have done that with my daughter except she prefers to be naked.

Oh my goodness! SG125, I could kiss you! My girls are going to be so happy when I get ready to wash their hair this weekend and whip this baby out!
It had been a few days since I checked out the site and I'm so glad I did it before this long Spring Break.
Thanks again, SG125, and to all the ladies, w/your wonderful suggestions.
BTW, Supergirl, my girls think they are too big for everything (14 and 12)! I'm barely getting good night kisses anymore
