Your hair looks great and although it was a deep trim, it's not short. It looks very healthy now. And now you can tell your mom not to overprocess anymore or are your going natural? Your braids look really nice, too.

Yes, I am going natural, but I'm not gonna do the big chop. I'm just gonna let it grow and style it with my relaxed hair. I'm having success with that now and not losing much hair. My mom is now amazed at how strong my hair is after braiding it, and one of my sisters is waiting to see how my hair turns out to decide if she can go natural, too.

Darcell, is, I dunno. lol When she stands beside my daddy, she looks almost as tall as he is. He's about 5'8." My boyfriend says that she's about 5'7." I don't know if she's quite that tall, though.

dont do the BC transition slowly and trimm until you get to a longer length, because the BC can be very traumatic.
