Everytime I manage to grow my hair out, it breaks right off. My beautician does a fine job, but its those in between the times of my visits that mess me up. I already know what the problem is: I'm using too much heat! I grew out my hair for a year. My feathered wrap was BOOMIN'. Now after 4 months of wearing the wrap, I'm back at square one. Short hair that is especially broken off at the edges. HELP! Please give me some maintenance tips.

How do I keep my wraps right without the use of heat? Somebody recommended, also, that when I go to the shop, dont get Wash and Sets but Rollersets instead. They require less heat.

What's the difference between a wash and set and roller set. I thought they were the same.

Sorry, to answer your question you should moisturize every single day, no exceptions. Soon you'll notice that your hair is breaking less.

Thanks. I do need to take care of my ends better. I honestly dont know the difference. A wash and set is what I usually get where she washes my hair, conditions it, blow dries it, and then styles it. I dont know what a rollerset is.

Usually a wash and set=shampoo, instant conditioner, and a roller set
when I go and say I want a roller set, they are going to spray my hair down with water and setting lotion and proceed to rolling.

I guess it depends on your salon.

Innocent Kiss, are you relaxed or natural? You had plans some months ago to go natural right?
Are you deep conditioning? Sorry I don't know anything about wraps. Maybe you could go into braids for awhile.
