Maintaining Hair and Staying Fit

Hi for the naturals who wear their hair straight, how do you maintain your hair when working out. I'm going to wear my hair out for a while ( I've been wearing sew ins for about a year) but I still want to maintain my workout regimen. Any suggestions?
 
If you are wearing your own hair out, if you sweat a lot - you may have to incorporate twist/out and braid outs to minimize some of the heat exposure. I could get away with shampoo, DC at least twice per week with straightening and no damage, not sure about more than that in 1 week.
