Maintaining and/or Repairing Weakening Locs

Hello!

My mom has locs. They are arm pit length. She has thin hair and her locs are weakening in the middle. She wants to keep them at their length. She'sbeen told they should be cut to decrease the tension, but she basically doesn't want to hear that.

Can anyone help?

sorry I dont know ANYTHING about maintaining locs....I hope someone else can chime in.

She might be able to separate the locs and make them thinner, thus causing less stress on the indivdiual loc?

Nappturality.com would be the best place to discuss locs though--they have a loc board on their forum.
