Curlformers users- How do you maintain your set after wash day? I'm looking for ideas. My hair ends up a poofy mess the day after.

I either pin curl or put it on these fabric soft leopard print rollers I have. I would post a pic, but I always forget to take one.
I know some people pineapple, but that turned into a mess for me.
There is a woman on YouTube that talks about how to preserve. I'll try to find her video and post a link.
