Magnetic Rollers - one brand vs. another

I was browsing in a couple of stores after work today and I checked out the gray and purple magnetic rollers. The Annie rollers at my local BSS have more of a smooth, plain finish. The Salon Care rollers at Sally Beauty Supply have more of a dull/matte surface. I don't know how to describe the surface.......just a different sort of plastic or different manufacturing than the Annie rollers, I guess.

For those of you who have used different brands of magnetic rollers, do you have a preference? Does it make a difference in rollersetting?

I like the matte ones I have better because the seams on the rollers are less jagged (I have Mariana brand ones)

Thanks sherann. I stay away from combs with seams, so I'll check out the seams on the rollers.
