I've been lurking on BHM & watching a few youtube tutorials on making 3/4th/ u-part wigs and finally decided to try it. I used Senghori Shells Natural Rhythms in 16 inch & 14 inch in color 1b. I split the wefts of the 16 inch and sealed them with hairextensions101 weft sealer. I used a weaving cap from the BSS.
I used all of the 16in and about a 12in strip of the 14in. I didn't cut the wefts just folded them over while i was sewing it to the cap. I left all of my edges out and a section for a middle part to help blend. then i made a perimeter braid to sew the wig onto. i flat ironed the hair and curled it with the flat iron to give it some body.
i really love this hair. the hair has shed maybe 1 hair. there have been NO TANGLES.
i'm pretty new to the wig game but i think i did a pretty good job for my first time. i'm going to redo the wig though cause there was a section in the front that wasn't laying down like i would have liked.

please forgive the look of the dummy head. it's my 91 year old grandma's so it's probably older than me! lol
