Lye or no-lye Affirm??

A few weeks ago, I got my last touch up. I usually use Affirm Sensitive Scalp, but they were out, so she just used Affirm Regular. I was reading somewhere that Affirm sensitive scalp was no-lye, and the other Affirm was lye. Is this true?? erplexed

If that relaxer was lye, I may consider switching to lye relaxers... Usually when I use no-lye, my scalp is dry and itchy, but it wasn't this time...

Yes sensitive scalp means no lye. I use Affirm no lye

I use Affirm Lye Regular. I've never experienced scalp irritation with it. It's a great relaxer! I'm glad you had a great experience w. it.

I use the no lye as well, and have had no problems.
