i remember always seeing commercials for this relaxer. what did yall tihnk about this if you have tried it? isnt it supposed to have pink oil or whatever in it?

I actually use this relaxer and it works great for me, hair comes out really shiny!

lol finally an answer 3 months later, well thank you for that information.

I wonder what the difference is between the regular Luster's Pink relaxer and the Smooth Touch relaxer. I know that the Smooth Touch relaxer is marketed specifically towards people who are doing touch ups on new growth, but the regular Pink relaxer can be used for touch ups too.

Bronxbaby - Did you ever try the Smooth Touch relaxer?

no i never tried it but the commercials were so good they made me want to.

Well I found that Smooth Thouch made my hair more shiny than the regular lusters pink relaxer but thats the only difference, both have been good to my hair. Smooth touch is my favorite though

Has anyone else ever used the Luster Smooth Touch relaxer or the Pink Oil relaxer? How did you like it? I just want to get some more opinions. I'm thinking about trying one of these for my next touch up. I know that there aren't many on here that still use no-lye, but my hair hates sodium hydroxide relaxers and I'm still trying to find the right no-lye for me.

Lusters Smooth Touch is the best relaxer that I have ever tried. It leaves my hair shiney smooth and silky. Before using this relaxer I tried Afrrim, my hair was reverting in my 5th week to the point where I couldn't comb it. My hair looked hard and was very unmanageable. However, smooth touch I would recommend with the highest regards. Also, the price is the least expensive then your average relaxer.

That helps me make my decision. I'm definitely going with Smooth Touch.

Good for you! I hope you enjoy it and have as much success with it as I have!
