Well after lurking on this board and getting slowly addicted to coming here each day, I have decided that is finally time for me to take full advantage and finally post.
My hair has been something that I have always been known for--I am the one that people remembers by "oh yeah, the one with the hair" so finding this board was in a way a blessing because I will admit that through the years I have not always taken care of my crowning glory. But for some reason, no matter what abuse it underwent, my hair always has been thick and long my most people standards-- ranging from shoulder length to currently bra-strap length.
So, that is my hair testimony in a nutshell--I don't want my introductory post to be too long, so I will end it here, but I just wanted to say Hi! to everyone and thanks for all the advice.

 Welcome! Hey, I am from Louisiana too! What are your favorite products?
My favorite product of all time is Creme of Nature Shampoo. I have been using this since I was in 4th grade. I had stayed over at a friend's house who had long hair like mine and wondered why she didn't cry when her mom detangled her hair after washing and then they introduced me to Creme of Nature shampoo. Other products I use are:
Fantasia Tea Tree Shampoo (for clarifying)
Loreal Nature's Therapy (for deep condition)
Pantene Light Conditioner Detangle Spray (for detangle and leave in)
Elasta QP Mango Butter (everyday hair dress and for smoothing hair in bun)
and I have just started using Wild Growth Oil for my ends and for shine

Welcome to the board! It's a different world once you start posting...you'll be even more addicted.

Thanks for the welcome. Oh yes, it is definitely more addicting when you post--I am finding out that I love to talk about my hair.

Thanks for coming out of the shadows. :sekret: It sounds like we'll be hearing a lot of good advice form you.
