Will you help me test the supplement, if I get postive results with the previous owners formula?

I've never been to Lugos or Adorables but I hate Bronx Hair Supply and that's because they are not open on Saturdays and they are supposed to close at 6:00 p.m. but that damn gate will be down at 5:40 p.m. I have friends who go to Lugos and Adorables with no complaints.

Hey, it all depends on what you're looking for. You want a straight weave or a curly weave?

Weaveitup hooked me up with a new place to get weave and I ordered it from India and permed and colored it myself. It was cheap but really good quality hair.

Anyway.. I just emailed you.. call me when you can. I can talk for days about weave.

I like lugos because they were friendly and where open at hours that I could live with. The quality hair that I got was worth it too!

Crystal,
I'm looking for something straight but I also want a few curly pieces (as suggested by Asummertyme). I want to be able to do a wash and go sometimes but I want the blown out look most times.

Alli, I'm going to visit them this Saturday. I want to see how they are before I go with them. I've never spent $150 on just hair so they have to be worth it.

I say go with the indian site crystal mentioned. Much cheaper and equal and sometimes better quality than the sites you mentioned.

I think Lugos & Adorables are equal as far as hair quality. They each have the same hair types branded with their own naming schemes, but each also has different hair types. Adorables has made it easy as you can order from their website, call in your order ahead of time, etc. If you go in there to order the hair and wait for it, it will take a few hours. Lugos doesn't have a website which I find inconvenient, but if it's true they now have a second location in Manhattan, it's a little more convenient than trekking to Brooklyn. Adorables prices have gone up every year since 1998. My very first Lugos purchase in 1997 of their European curly cost me $90 for 8oz. That same year I also purchased Adorables french refined (same hair, diff names) and 8oz cost me around $132ish. My last Adorables purchase in 2002 for that very same french refined hair was $180! When I go to Lugos in October, I'll find out how much their prices have jumped. Although some don't mind paying that kind of money, it's gotten so that hair is ridiculously costing more than the weave job itself.
My girlfriend NEVER goes without wearing a weave, at least for the 4 years I've known her. She uses this beautiful permed human hair brand sold in beauty supply stores. It's something like $12 a pack and she only needs to buy a few packs. I went with her once & she showed me what she buys, but I never wrote it down. The hair price is so low that she can afford to get her weave redone every 2 months for $150! The hair is good quality & she manipulates it as if it were her own. She curls it, waves it & such. I love it! It makes me want to try a straight weave since the hair is so cheap in price, although I can blow my curly one out, but I hardly ever bother. You really can't tell. I'll get the name of it & keep you guys posted for those interested.

Yes I'm interested. I'd try that and the Indian place that Crystal put me on to. I'm not really in a rush but I'd like to have this done by the end of October.

could you buy the machine straight and have it blend well with 4a relaxed?

i have a blending phobia. i want a weave, but i need it to look as real as possible

Okay so the site asummertime posted is the right one. It is still overall cheaper than BSS hair. Around my parts 16 inch machine wefted hair is 30-33 a pack and each pack has 4 ounces so that would be 120-132 a lb. Indain hairs has a 1lb of 16 inch machine wefted for 54 and shipping is 40 and that is still only 94. This hair is reusable and BSS hair is not. As for blending, I am planning of buying an upperlevel BSS brand that is textured like 4a/4b and use it for the first 2 tracks closest to my hair. Anyway pm for more info. if you want.HTH.

Good idea CBG, I didn't even consider that. Do the specialy stores sell the hair in such small quanitities though?

When do you plan on placing your order?

Unfortunately I just placed an order with Indianhairs with a girl on another forum. Imma gonna try and contact her and see if she put it in yet. If not we can add yours in and that way you don't have to pay the full shipping cost.

i wore lugos once and that was it for me. tangled alot and was more coarse than my own hair. after that i was strictly adorable for years (60% spanish, 40% straight blend). the only thing that broke my adorable habit was virgin indian hair. no other hair has compared to it in terms of quality, re-usability (is that a word lol), etc.

Can you ladies post pictures?
I've only tried lugo's hair and this is the style i created with it...

Neither of the companies mentioned in this thread are really that good. Go to blackhairmedia.com and check out thier weave board. The best quality hair is Exstenions-Plus.com and then there are some other companies you can try that will still beat lugos, indian hairs and those others any day.
