6 months in my transition I am totally loving my hair right now. My natural hair is braided a little way past the line of demarcation and rubber bands are put at the end of the braid to prevent it from getting undone.

The reason: (1) to keep my natural hair untangled. (2) co washing and styling in the shower is getting more difficult. (3) to avoid combing/frustrating myself too often.

The plan: keep my hair like this for 1-2 months. Redo.

The progress: it has been one week and my scalp is terribly itchy. I usually keep styles like this for no more than 1 week because of this itchiness. Week 2 here I come. Anyone with tips to combat the itchiness please share.
