Lotsa Growth, maybe from all the extra Protein?

Wonderful progress OP. I started eating more protein again, around April. This time I have been eating eggs scrambled or boiled for brkfst, sardines packed in olive oil or pink wild salmon right out of the can for lunch. For dinner usually chicken, beans or local fish. I have lost weight and my hair and nails are growing well and my skin is clear. I also eat a ton of fruit and vegtables and more water.
 
I think Jack Links is new. I get mine from Target or Walmart. They come in a bag and they're about $3.50 each but it's a good size bag. Sometimes they're at the checkout counter. But if you can't find Jack Links you can get any kind of beef/turkey jerky like Slim Jims or something. Jack Links has been the tastiest ones I tried so far though, especially the turkey.
I saw these the last time I went grocery shopping. My ds asked for some and I told him that once he had eaten what he has at home he could get a bag to try. Do you mind me asking what flavor of the beef steak one's you eat? I am going to get the turkey one for myself today when we go grocery shopping.

Thanks!! Yes, I was able to reach my goal and more. I'm already at my desired weight (I ended up losing about 12 pounds). I'm working on maintaining now by incorporating a better more balanced diet and excercise though. That's the hardest part. Atkins is easy for me but the hard part is after you've reached your goal weight and you try to gradually sneak the carbs back in.

I LOOOOOOOVE bread so that's a struggle for me but moderation is key. Easy to say, hard to do:perplexed

I only tried the "original" brand of the beef steak nuggets. They also have Teriyaki and the original is sometimes harder to find but I've never tried Teriyaki. The steak actually tastes kind of sweet and that's why I like them. They even have chicken jerky. But my preference is the turkey jerky because they taste just like turkey bacon.

You're very welcome! It is the one in your second link that actually says turkey "Jerky" on the package. I've never seen the other one that said turkey steak but I would try it also if I did. Seems like the turkey steak ones are more compressed into a roll like a Slim Jim. The jerky ones are cut up just like bacon and that's better to me.
 
I’m always trying to find the best ways to get thr highest amount of protein. Chlorella has made my face into a pizza so I have to cut back on that a little. I’m aiming 120 per day.

Anyone know of any protein shakes that offer HIGH HIGH protein counts??..I don't care about the taste

When the significant other gets in from watching futbol I will ask him as he has all these protein concoctions here, I just give them the side eye but I may try it too. I think I will be able to know if ingesting more protein increases my growth rate easy too. I have not relaxed for 3 months and I have 1.5 inches of new growth to 2 inches, that puts me solidly at the 1/2 inch per month growth rate. 3 months seems like a good amount of time to see what my growth rate pattern is so if I start today protein shakes today and report back with an inch of growth September 1st then we know it was the protein.
 
Good, healthy looking growth. Proteins may be the key. I eat a lot of protein and lots of low carb. veggies with faster and thicker hair growth since my June BC. Easy for me to cook properly since getting my Nuwave oven{minimal clean up is a big incentive}!

The protein count depends on the brand. There is a ready to drink shake made by EAS called Myoplex that offers 42g per serving. Here's a link to the various products they offer:

You could also mix your own protein drink by purchasing protein powder and mixing it with either milk, water or juice. The best protein for that sort of thing is called Designer Whey and it comes in different flavors. Each scoop of protein is roughly 17g's so you can vary the amount of your intake accordingly. Although this post is months old, I love this eating idea and will try it more consistently.
