I am so upset. For 2 1/2 weeks i was using surge and my hair grew alot thyen i decided to twist my hair and untwist for the waves it makes. It looked great but when I washed my hair, i lost some hair and realized my hair was breaking alot. So i took off about an inch. I was 2 inches away from Bra strap and i feel like i'm starting all over again.
So i am just going to wear my hair in a bun till i get a touch up. I am only 4 weeks into my perm. UGRHHHHHH....

Wow, Im sorry to hear this. I wonder what did that? Twist outs and braid outs never worked for me because there would be so much breakage (but most people seem to have success with them). Im thinking maybe that the Surge should have prevented or minimized that possibility. Were you sealing with any type of oil or S Curl while using surge? Anyway, you are doing the right thing now. Just keep your hair in moisturized buns until your touch up. That should help restore your length.

It definately wasn't the Surge but i think my hair was a little hard because of what i put in it when i was braiding. Everyone at work was saying how much my hair grew and this had to happen. I am just really unhappy this happened. The most i will do is put ina semi-permanent color because it will add a little moisture to my hair.

Try to feel better sweetie, your hair will definitely grow back. That's the beauty of it all, it always grows back...as long as the damage wasnt done to your scalp. Just try not to repeat what you believe were your mistakes.
