This is something new, I guess:confused:
It is by loreal .... "Nature's therapy Natural or Relaxed"
They have a pre relaxer or coloring conditioner and a post relaxer or coloring conditioner... also they have a shampoo and conditioner and a intense creme conditioner....
All are supposed to strengthen the hair:ohwell: ..or is just hype:lachen: again?

Who has tried it and what were your results?

Thanks

Forgot to add that at Sally's you get it free with a mail-in rebate... so me being a product junkie bought it:cool: ..

I tried this at some point before and during my transition and was not happy with the results. It made my hair feel like straw. :(

Loreals Nature's Therapy I have tried the L'oreal's Nature's Therapy Defining Curls line. I've tried the shampoo, conditioner, and the curl defining cream as a part of my wash and go routine. I like the curl defining cream. It gives your hair a nice hold while maintaining bouce, and it doesn't leave a filmy feel to the hair. I'm indifferent about the other two products. It's just a regualr shampoo and conditioner. My guess is that all of the products are alike. It may just be a difference in the packaging.

Which product did you buy?

I also saw the line in Sally's and was intrigued by the rebate offer but resisted. I'll probably give in a buy the pre-relaxer treatment. How bad bad could it be?

I have tried the Naturals and Relaxed deep conditioner. I bought it solely to make a review on LHCF of the product.

From a marketing perspective, L'Oreal has always catered to white people until they bought SoftSheen. Then they started creating more of the same product, but slapped it with a "for relaxed" label. Such is the case with this new "Relaxed and Naturals" line. For those that like L'Oreal Mega Moisture Nuturing Creme, you probably won't like this new deep conditioner. It is only 'okay' IMO. At $7.99 for only 4 ounces, it just isn't worth it. It provides little slip and it doesn't smell like a dozen roses either.

I really don't like their word choice on the packaging either: wth is a "prestigious, fresh fragrance?"

Here is the ingredient listing:
water
ceterayl alcohol
behentrminium [sp] chloride
amodimethicone
potato starch modified
cetyl esters
isopropyl alcohol (now why in the world is this in the product? please don't tell me it's an 'emulsifier')
Fragrance
Methylparben [sp] (If a preservative is high on the list of ingredients, it's probably not all that)
Other junk I can't pronounce or refuse to type
hydrolyzed wheat protein
other things I can't pronounce or refuse to type
taurine (the ingredient that they boasts supposedly to penetrate the hair shaft but it didn't do a thing for this 6f type hair).

HTH

I tried the N&R Intense Moisture Conditioner back in February. According to my notes,:brainy: both my new growth (9 wks post TU) and my relaxed hair liked it. However, I followed it up w. Kenra MC to get that extra slip and overall my hair felt lovely.

I'll have to give it another try to see how my hair likes it now... :scratchch
