Lopsided hair!!!

Hi Ladies, I'm a newbie and have learned sooo much from you all, my hair is already showing signs that it's loving all the wonderful nourishment I'm giving it.

The only problem is the left side of my hair is noticebly shorter than the right. My left side has always been a little shorter but, the right's growth has really outpaced the left. I also experience more breakage when I comb this side. I read an old thread about breakage and I too am anemic but take Iron and a Multivitamin daily. I have noticed that my buns are slightly pushed to the right because I am left handed.

I know you guys with all of your hair wisdom will be able to help me.
How do I change this?

do you wrap your hair? Because wrapping can cause uneven length.
If you don't, I'd say baby the shorter side and maybe add a topical treatment like Boundless Tresses to your regime. I had this same problem when i joined the forum and my hair has evened up since then.

I don't wrap it unless right after a relaxer, currently I'm 7 weeks post.
I have heard about the BT on other threads. This is made by someone on the boards, right?

I agree. Maybe use a growth aid on that side. My hair also grows unevenly, but since it's either in a bun or worn curly from a rollerset, it doesn't make much difference. If it's not damaged or split, I don't mind. You can wait until it gets to a length that you are comfortable with, and then do a blunt cut, if that's what you are after.

I'll give it extra TLC, cause my right side is almost to APL and the left is just sittin' on my shoulder.....scurrred to jump in the pool.

Yep, I can't remember the name of the member who makes it, but it would be pretty easy to find with a search. She has a website where she sells different varieties of it, just google boundless tresses.

Also, I'd advise switching to cross wrapping, if you really need to wrap.

My right side is waist length, and my left side is about four inches shorter--uneven hair is normal, but I wear it in a bun most of the time.

Dont worry my hair is the same way....But I didnt notice it that much when I just got my relaxer. Maybe it has grown even or something. My left is like 1/2 inch shorter only on the sides.
