Looking for an all natural replacement for s-curl

Greg Juice can be a replacement. It does not have quite as much glycerin as s-curl does. You could always add a touch more or a little more aloe gel. If you ever make flax seed concoctions you could combine the two. Asha's silk rose is a good natural alternative as well.

A MORE (not ALL) natural alternative is Daily Doctor or the itch/gro spray by Jamaican Mango and Lime. As a matter of fact, I like combining these two together. My preference would be for the oyin or asha's, but these two are cheaper alternatives. In my opinion daily doctor is superior to s-curl.

Hey tishee I have used the oyin greg juice and it works great and it smells okay it is just that the thicker your hair the more you will have to use to get that effect and at almost $10 a bottle that can get a little expensive if you just use it alone, but if you can use it like every few days it will save you money.

I had to use it daily for my daughters hair and hers was very thick, but I went back to suave kids and it is a charm.

thanks NP! I wonder how the greg's juice will work w/silk rose? I noticed that using the sr alone isn't enough. By chance do you have you regimen posted anywhere on the forum?

IMO, Greg Juice is NOTHING like SCurl. I am relaxed though so it may be different for you. Greg juice is kinda watery and scurl has some substance behind it.

I don't think Greg juice would do nothing to my natural hair. It barely did anything to my relaxed hair but made it get kinda crinkly.

Greg Juice gives me softness but not as much as s-curl. I read on nappturality that Qhemet's Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm is the natural equivalent of Sta Sof Fro. It's not a spray though so that part has me confused. It works good but I can't compare it to Sta Sof Fro because I've never used that......can't get past the smell.

thanks Pokahontas! I took at look at the ingredients and was worried about some of the things in it. My derm advised me to stay clear of chemicals and replace my current products w/all natural products. It is SO hard though.
