Looking for a hairgel

Looking for a hairgel that will lay new growth down but is not really harding. I use to use pro-con gel..but found that made my hair dry and break. Looking for suggestions.

I like these becuase they contain no alcohol. If you are looking for a gel that is not conditioning, you can try S-Curl Gel:

I use Myhoneychild Coconut Hair Jel. It works really well, doesn't dry my hair out, has a nice hold, but doesn't make the hair hard, and has a sweet scent to it.

I like Fantasia IC gel w/ Sparkle Lites. Use a scarf to help lay the hair down.

Smooth Shine Curl activator gel for extra dry hair works great at laying my hair down, better than anything I tried before. The consitency is not sticky at all, my hair remains soft, and it does not flake.

I love the IC Polisher Pomade. It reminds me of JAM but not quite as greasy. I have a short cut now and it lasy don my hair that is cut low in the back and sides. It has a nice smell but not overpowering like JAM can be. It's about $4 and the jar is pretty big, you don't need much either.
