I am looking for a good black hair rinse. I wish I could purchase dudley black hair rinse, but I dont know where I could go to purchase and I think you have to have a license to get it. I want nice, black, shiny hair.

I've always used the jet black rinse by Clariol in the brown bottle with the black top... it works fine, it doesnt long, but u can always leave it on for an extended amount of time though under the dryer...

I have only tried one and that was the Clairol Beautiful Collection Jet Black rinse. I liked it. The color was VERY bold and left my hair shiny, also. It washed out in about 6 washes without heat though. That's my only gripe--it didn't last long enough.

I forgot to get that kind. But I use L'oreal's Color Pulse hair dye in Electric Black. . the only two downsides that I have about this, is that it turned my gray hairs purple, and it doesn't last. . actually you have to be careful about rinsing your hair period with it, or you won't see any results (judging by my gray hairs, which are now gray again.)

I just used Clairols black rinse yesterday, I've used this brand often and it does the job, my hair is a shiny jet black today, however in the light and only in the back my hair still has an auburn tint, but it's not really that detectable the rest of my head on top is jet black, guess I didn't apply it well enough. I also sat under the dryer for about 25 to 30 minutes.

I used to use the pink bottle Jazzing (Bluest Black) I don't remember how well it held up as far as washes though.

I use Clairol's Beautiful Collection in the brown bottle with the black top. The size is 3 oz. In my area it costs around $3.97 and is sold in most of the BSS.

It seems like everyone is dying their hair black these days. It used to be around summertime, people would be going for highlights.

I used colorshowers last week and already it looks like it faded after my cowash. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the color and how my hair felt but if you are cowashing...it will be gone! I use to use jazzin but it was making my hair dry and stained everything but my hair! I might switch back to more permanant black dyes. Don't want to because I might want to go red. Going to try Matrix before going permanant and will review the results.

I think that fact is causing a subconscious rebellion in us all  but I've had color for so long, honey brown, auburn, and I used to always dye my hair black. I missed that contrast with my complextion, my makeup and face always looks better to me when it's black. Also my hair being the longest it's ever been I really wanted to see how it would look. My hair also looks healthier and thicker when it's black, I'll think I'll be keeping it for a long time. Re-doing it as needed.

THAT'S why I stopped using Jazzin! It stains and bleeds, not cute. Clairol stays put. Even the 'pro' rinse I'd get done at the salon would stain the back of my shirts and ish. I have on a baby pink polo today and I've done checks in the ladies room, it's completely clean.

I used the Clairol Beautiful Collection this weekend as well.:D I think my face looks younger with darker hair. Besides, highlights killed my hair

What! I am going to have to dry that then. Jazzin is the worst. My nails would be blue, my neck, and goodness, DON'T SWEAT! Blue sweat running down your face!
