K- it happens to the best of us.

Babyblue- do you currently have highlights in your hair? What color is your hair now? I use Sebstian (sp) Color Shines rinse for my hair. I have highlights in my hair already and the rinse helps to add color to my hair. The rinse will eventually rinse out after 6 weeks.

hahahahahaaaaaa, i cant believe I wrote that. My hair is dark brown and im interested in a redish like color, i have no highlights.

How red? If you're looking for something burgundyish, a rinse may do the trick (although it may only show best in the sun). But if you want to go lighter than your natural haircolor, you're gonna need a permanent most likely.

I use Clairol Beautiful Collection hair color. It's very gentle and I havent had a problem with it so far. Its a semi-permanent hair color.

You can try sebastian colourshines color in reddissimo. Its conditioning agents will add superb shine, body and management to your hair (awww man Im great at this any advertising agencies hiring lololololol). In all honesty though I use it everytime I relax and its great. Its best to use when you relax because your hair cuticle is opened and therefore absorb more of the color, therefore better results.

HTH

I remember Lindy using Sebastians and her haircolor actually lightened, even though it's a semi-permanent. So you may want to try that first before considering a permanent.

<ul type="square"> [*]Has anyone heard anything about Loreal ColorSpa, it used to be Casting? [*]Are there any Adore colors comparable to Sebastian's Reddissimo? [/list]

Jen - try Cajun Spice....it has a little more rust in it than the Redissimo, but I think it's the closest. I've also used Casting, but I prefer Natural Instincts. It's the same type of color - but I like the Clairol formulations better than L'Oreal.

I'm looking for a burgundyish type of color, I've tried a rinse but it didnt take to my hair, you couldnt even notice it in the sun.

Yeah, I think you should give the Sebastians a try. Have you looked a brownrelaxedhair's hair journal? Her hair came out a bit burgunyish with the one she tried (I can't remember the color).

Thanks Tracy! Natural Instincts dried out my hair something awful, so maybe I should just stick to the Adore.
