Oh, I'm sorry that I took so long to reply. I haven't used mine yet. My daughter has been using her own that fits close to the scalp. Mine is nice and roomy... ideal if I had a big head full of hair, rollers or whatever. I did try it on... I like it. I'm still attached to my old head scarves, saying "when I wash my hair I'll use the new one," then out of habit, put the old one on.
