I am glad everything went well for you. Your hair looks nice and healthy and it looked great with the locks too! I use takedown products when I am removing braids it really is amazing for taking out little knots.

Wow, I didn't think it was possible to take down locs, but you have proved that it can be done and with beautiful results.

Thanks ladies...it has indeed been a journey...I'm looking forward to coming up with some funky natural hairstyles!!...I did it with locs now I will do it with natural hair!!

Yep I have been a believer for some time now about folks being able to take down their locs. I've seen this before on another hair board-I told a loctitan this once and he got upset and wanted to argue with me about it, lol. I don't go to him anymore.

Anyway your locs looked great and your fro looks great to. Welcome to your next stage.

i was wondering if i did locs on my daughter how would i feel later on when they r long and she may not want them any more....this is helping me decide if i want to start them on her...thanks for sharing the tips

Thank you for the compliments!!....I'm soooo lovin' my hair loose and being creative with my hair...I will be starting another hair album showing some funky loc updo's and some ideas I have for protective styles this winter for naturals...I will post when it's up!!
