That is so, so sad. Every mother needs to see that video. The music made it even more eerie.
 
omg! Poor baby, her hair was just fine and so sweet looking before...her mother just needs to allow all that relaxed hair to be cut off and sport a little afro for a while. I don't think all those extensions are going to help her hair in the long run...
 
ha, that was me when I was younger. Had to shave almost bald, then went right back to the relaxer after because I didnt' know any better.

Her hair will grow back, but this is a nice video to show the dangers of improperly relaxing
 
Her hair was so cute! Why did the mother need to put a kiddie perm in it, especially since someone else - the video poster - was doing her hair anyway? I've never seen such an outcome of a relaxer - on an adult or a child - what in the WORLD?!
 
Poor baby... why on Earth would anyone do that to their child? Tears fell when I saw the results of the "kiddie relaxer."
 
OMG that is TRAGIC!!!

I, for the LIFE of me, will never understand why people will put a relaxer on a childs hair or anyones hair if they have no clue as to what they are doing. :nono:

Hopefully whoever did that will NEVER do it again and Im sure the little girls hair will grow back even more glorious than it was before.

What are you rocking now? Just curious, I'm
not against relaxers but I am usually in awe when people trust relaxers when they (relaxers) have been an enemy to their hair in the past.
 
Oooh my god! My eyes started watering up, that poor little baby. I really dont understand why her mother would do that, if she wanted to relax the child's hair she should have taken her to a decent salon :nono:. God willing her hair will grow healthy and stronger than before she is a beautiful little girl. I agree other mothers should be shown this video.

Poor baby. The part where it said she keeps asking when is my hair going to grow back, lawd that got me :cry:. Thank goodness the damage isn't permanent and it's growing back.

Why does it matter?! Black mothers have the same screwed up hair practices too.

Anyway, sorry for the child. I'm glad whoever it is is back taking care of her hair. I can't wait to see an update.
 
Heartbreaking is all I can say. With time and proper care, it will grow back. Steer her mother clear of the chemical aisle in the stores.
 
Rossclot!:eek: I was not expecting this turn out at all. Poor little girl. Thankfully her hair is filling in and growing back with no permanent damage.
 
Oh wow...how bad do you have to be at following instructions to cause that kind of damage? Even in all my years of improperly relaxing (whole head, combing root to tip) I NEVER had that happen. I'm glad the youtuber is taking care of her head again. Shame it had to happen in the first place, though...there was no reason to relax that little girl's hair anyways. Whatever styling choices they decide to do in the future, chemical or not, I hope more caution is exercised than that incident.

OT: Who sing's that song and what's the name of it? I like it. :look:
 
IDK why the mother would even attempt to put in a relaxer herself when she had someone already taking excellent care of her daughter's hair!! Especially when she obviously wasn't able to apply the relaxer herself. I wonder what her hair is looking like. *****!
