Anyway, I am determined to stick with this stuff despite its horrible taste....

uck! Usually I have this habit of wanting to plan out my entire supplement regimen, but I've decided to just take it one day at a time. Meaning: I have no idea what I'm going to use to get that lecithin down. Today I mixed it with yogurt and chased it down with Diet Dr. Pepper....lol.

I think, while I'm at it, I'm going to get some raw wheat germ too.

Who has successfully taken 1tbsp a day of lecithin?

As mentioned in other threads, I have been taking liquid lecithin (2 tablespoons 3 to 4 times a week). I also take wheat germ and brewer's yeast (2 tablespoons EVERYDAY). Been taking for over 3 years and I put on hot cereals, cold cereals, blended in protein shakes, stirred in milk, juice, herbal teas, etc. Yes, even yogurt. Liquid lecthin is an acquired taste and I've found the best way to get it down is either in HOT cereals or teas or to put in the blender with my protein shakes.

Good ideas. I tried the hot tea thing last night........it wouldn't melt! I tried the protein shake this morning, but apparently my blender wasn't assembled properly because everything just leaked out!

Luckily I was watching a sermon on tv about tests...lol.

Anyway...I'm going to try the hot cereal thing tonight. I'm gonna put it in grits (yes.....I'm a down south chick) with butter and sugar!!!

Well...most softgels only have about 1-2g of lecithin. One tablespoon of the liquid has 15.5g........I guess I could take 15 softgels.....eh

Is that so? Well, Nature's Bounty sells Ultra Soya Lecithin at 19 gr per softgel....if that's what you're looking for.

Wow...that would be cool

But I'm thinking that 19 gr. means granules...not grams. I think it's 1200mg (or 1.2g) which happens to equal 19 lecithin granules

I guess it is 19 grain though since 1 mg = .001 grams.

I guess VO doesn't know that they're falsely advertising,

. Well, lots of luck with the taste!

So...still trying it with new things day by day.......I put it in a caesar salad that I ate with some meat. Tomorrow.....I'll try it with grits or something.

The grits...

were PERFECT with the lecithin. I just put some butter, sugar, and honey to disguise it a bit. But, even though I could still taste it, it wasn't too bad...everything complimented it quite well. Heeeeeeeeeey! We've got a winner: lecithin grits and eggs.
