Lightening Hair Without Bleach

Hey Ladies,

Does anyone know if you can lighten your hair without the use of bleach? I currently have dark brown hair now, but would like to lighten my hair to a honey blonde color without the harshness that bleaching the hair causes.

It can...how do you think some people get pink and blue? lol
My friend got some kind of peroxide lightener form sally's and sat in the sun, it turned her dark brown hair to a light brown almost blonde shade. I guess it depends on how your hair takes. If you have relaxed hair it will be easier to lighten than natural hair because it is more porous.

It depends on how resistant your hair is to color. Mine will not super lighten with just peroxide. It requires a booster.

some ppl just dye their hair straight like i think yokhurt did the dying b4 bleaching thing but am not too sure you could send her a pm and ask
