Hey Lonei, I like to use a few drops of pure jojoba oil on my doobie. I rub a few drops in my hand and rub throughout my hair when I take the rollers out and also rub a few drops around the wrap before tying up. Jojoba oil is very light and provides an excellent shine on my hair. The key to having a shiny, bouncy doobie is using minimal products. I know you will get excellent recommendations and I hope you find something that works for you. HTH
1. hot oll treatment
2. shampoo or clarify
3. watery or creamy leave in all over hair
4. serum on the ends only before setting on rollers
5. do the doobie thing and apply oil or serum lightly (don't over do this one).
result: a doobie that u cant keep your hands out of
My cousin goes to a Dominican salon. She said that they spray Isoplus Oil Sheen on the brush when they are wrapping her hair. Any oil sheen would probably work the same way.

So are creamy leave ins better than watery ones or vice versa (for a bouncy style) and if so, please recommend products

I wouldn't say that is always the case, it depends on the ingredients. For instance, Daily Doctor is very heavy on my hair (watery) and I use it for air drying. I have used it for rollersets in the past and my hair came out limp. Elucence MB (creamy) is lighter than DD and I use it for my rollersets and get wonderful bouncy hair. Trial and error would help when you want to determine those factors.
