Let's Talk Wild Growth (yes, again)

I've been lurking here on and off over the years, and it looks like periodically Wild Growth comes up then goes. I have to say, I really like this product, even though it stinks and is as greasy as the day is long. I personally think it really works, and I constantly hear people say it's a great moisturizer, but it doesn't really grow hair. I beg to differ (and I'm sure not everything works for every body but...)

I thought this product didn't do much for growth either, until about two months after I'd stopped using it. My hair was halfway down my back from just past my shoulders! Now yes, my hair does grow faster than normal, but this was way faster than MY normal. I really think this stuff has a "delayed reaction" feature--or maybe my hair does? It got to a point where the hair was so long and thick, I just cut it off for the heck of it 'cause it was too much.

I've recently started growing it again. I'm at whatever length is between SL and BSL, maybe SBL? (Shoulder blade length)? I'm trying to use it until the end of this month and then stop.

Anyone tried the light version? I'm all for anything that smells better and is less heavy. I just wonder if it works as well in the growth dept.

i have some that threw into an applicator bottle with other oils. I don't think i'll be re-purchasing it though (Not that it has or has not worked because honestly i don't know; i'm not good with tracking progress like i should) but the smell is one thing that DID NOT bother me. I have no idea why but even before I joined the board I was using this stuff and it helped my hair as far as health and keeping split ends away, and i used it at least 2-3 times a week. Now it's mixed in with some Vatika, Neem, and Amla oils.

I Have It As Well. Cannot "vouch" in the growth department, because I was/am using Mega-Tek, Surge, Vitamins and other "Growth Aids":look:

I have seen the Light, but haven't purchase it. I think it works well managing NG.:yep:

The length between SL and BSL (BSL is also referred to a BSB- Below Shouler Blade) is APL, which stands for Arm Pit Length :yep:

All of this WGO talk is seriously making me want to go to Sally's!

Yeaaaaaaah Tiffers! Go get u sum'!!! looool!
Seriously, i love it! i mix it with my castor oil and it works great at keeping my scalp healthy!!!

LMAO at the length designations, but I'm glad there is one. I keep seeing WL, BSL, SL but nothing in between. Although I have to say, I like Shoulder blade length better than armpit! Back on topic: I really think those who have this product should give it a second look. I can point to at least two times I used it and achieved pretty remarkable growth. I've had similar results using dudley's A,D,E hairdress (noticeable growth but not quite as remarkable) and Pink Lotion's Sheer formula (which only recently stopped working for me). Wild Growth has been fairly consistent for me. I'm going from APL to BSL, but I don't think I can go any lower. I just don't have the time to take care of that much hair!

Oh, and yes, I think I will get the light formula. Like I need and excuse to try another product. LOL Confessed PJ here. Hey the first step is admitting I have a problem!

I've used the original and the light WGO. The light did nothing for my growth, it has a weird texture, plus it gets solid if the temperature in the room is too low. The original does make my hair grow faster, i just sometimes can't take the smell :spinning:

I just came from the beauty supply and now Im already thinking about going back for this oil I have become a certified PJ. The problem with oils is my hair is fine so they usually make my hair stick to my head is this oil heavy?

You all really need to try the light version. This is the one I have and I love it. I put it on my scalp before drying my rollerset to prevent my scalp from drying out. The smell is not as bad as the original and the overall formula is lighter.

I always did like this stuff. (The original). I used my bottle up before I knew to read and analyze the ingredients. Does it have sulfur, or anything sulfur related in it?
