Arent they the same thing?? Doesn't RECONSTRUCTOR = PROTEIN TREATMENT for the hair????erplexed

I've read that the proteins in reconstructors are smaller do they can actually penetrate the hair shaft and regular protein conditioners coat the hair

Sorry for my newbness but "protein reconstructor" sounds like a type of treatment to me. Is it just a protein conditioner you use like normal and wash out after a few minutes? Or is there a special process? Is it best to do your DC after a protein wash?

I was thinking I would co-wash with moisturizing conditioner on Mondays and Wednesdays and co-wash with protein condition/reconstructor on the weekends and follow the protein with a DC.
