Let's SPRING into ACTION!

I am going to start:

poo'ing 1x minimum. (I have been very slack lately)
DC 1x week or 1x every 2 weeks
exercising 3x week
drinking more water
and taking better care of myself overall.
:grin:
 
I can’t believe that tomorrow (March 20th) is the first day of SPRING! Hopefully we (and our HAIR) made it thru winter without any major mishaps. This has me very motivated to reach my next hair goal (APL) as warmer weather approaches. So starting tomorrow, the SPRING season will give us 13 WEEKS before the beginning of summer (June 21st) – what are you willing to DO to reach your goal(s)?

Here is my SPRING action plan:
  • Increase the frequency of deep conditioning (3x weekly) and use heat every time!
  • Con wash 3x per week after deep conditioning!
  • Start using MN and massage my scalp daily to increase growth!
  • Keep my hair cornrow for 2 weeks at a time, and wear wig as a great protective style!
  • Use up most of my products before buying anything else!
  • Stay positive and focused!

I have one bottle of Surge left that I need to use up also. I plan to use use most of my products before jumping on any more bandwagons.

The only thing I'm allowing myself to buy in the regular is MN, because I go thru 2 tubes per week.


Hey CurliDiava. I've been a notorious lurker :hide:who has decided to come out of hiding. I have soo many products that I probably don't have to buy anything until 2009. But I'll probably cave in and reward myself some Oyin Homemade products once I hit APL this year (fingers crossed).

My regimen will pretty much remain the same: protective/low maintenace styles, moisturizing often, DC'ing etc...the only slight difference is I plan to CO-Wash more frequently as I normally do around this time, I already started a day early! :lol:
 
-Take my vitamins
-more water
-crown & glory technique (currently in kinky twists)
-baby my edges like no tomorrow
-more exercise
-learn how to cornrow :sad:. This is currently not going so well
 
I'll be:
  • DCing/pre-pooing 2x a week
  • washing w/diluted sulfate free poo 2x a week
  • babing ends w/Qhemet's Amla & Olive Heavy Cream
  • rollersets/braidouts/buns as style options
  • massaging ayurvedic oils on scalp several times a week
  • henna gloss every 2 months

Oh Wow, I like this one. Hmmmm....well since I decided not to highlight my hair, I'm going to continue with the natural highlighters, henna, honey, and lemon juice to keep the health and get some color in between.

1.) Try not to flat iron every relaxer, but more roller wraps.
2.) Co-wash twice per week and keep all my Ayurvedic poos.
3.) DC weekly with heat.
4.) Keep up the lo-mani styles and the rollerset ponies.
5.) Moisture, moisture, moisture
6.) Maybe do some braids or a sew-in.
7.) DON'T BUY ANYMORE PRODUCTS!!! - I can't KILL the PJ to save my life. :lachen::lachen:

I know its lengthy, but this should keep me on track for the summer.

I saturated my hair with vatika oil and put it up this morning!!!!!!!
 
Ok here we go:

1. Cowash 3-4x a week
2. DC 2x a week
3. Drink more water
4. lay off the junk food
5 Exercise 3-5x week
6. Do proctive styles.
7. only use direct heat when flat ironing to check length once a month
8. PRAY PRAY PRAY
9. Continue to create own products to use in hair.

Oh and step up my posting game:yep:
 
This Summer, I want my hair to look like :gorgeous: instead of :pullhair:, so I will:
  • Massage scalp and seal ends w/JBCO every other night
  • CO wash weekly with a little baking soda added
  • Wear protective styles frequently
  • Do hennas monthly (slacked off before)
  • Eat properly (getting better)
  • Get back to drinking at least 32-48 oz water a day & taking vitamins

My Plan of action for APL (stretched) by June'08:
dust ends once
DC 2-3x a week
poo once a week
moisturize nightly with mist of water and seyani hair butter
co-wash every other day
scalp massages nightly
no ponytails to sleep
reduce brushing
 
Curlidiva! You have inspired me first of all with the wig challenge which is such a great thing-longer, unbroken strands.

1.Deep condition with my heat cap 2x a week.
2.Flat twist my hair beneath my wigs-{my two braids are growing so they cause 'lumpy':blush: wigs.}
3.More oil shampoos-great for new growth.
4.Stop buying so much hair stuff, use up what I have.
5.Drink more water..I've been negligent there.
