Let's SPRING into ACTION!

I can’t believe that tomorrow (March 20th) is the first day of SPRING! Hopefully we (and our HAIR) made it thru winter without any major mishaps. This has me very motivated to reach my next hair goal (APL) as warmer weather approaches. So starting tomorrow, the SPRING season will give us 13 WEEKS before the beginning of summer (June 21st) – what are you willing to DO to reach your goal(s)?

Here is my SPRING action plan:

  • Increase the frequency of deep conditioning (3x weekly) and use heat every time!
  • Con wash 3x per week after deep conditioning!
  • Start using MN and massage my scalp daily to increase growth!
  • Keep my hair cornrow for 2 weeks at a time, and wear wig as a great protective style!
  • Use up most of my products before buying anything else!
  • Stay positive and focused!

I plan on doing the following:

-DC's 2x a week
-Cowash 2x a week
-Use Ovation Cell Therapy to encourage growth
-Exercise 3-5x a week
-Only use heat 2x a week
-Leave it alone as much as possible!
 
Ooooooohhhh, great idea. I really wanted to grow my hair out for my birthday in August so that leaves me with about 5 months to do so. So to do this, I plan on

-No shampoo unless I henna
-Use shik poo bars and powders
-DC weekly on Saturdays
-Co wash every Tues with cheapie con
-MN mix every night or every other night
-Scalp massage after adding MN mix
-Protective styling daily with 1 pass/month
-Little to no heat
-Exercise at least 3Xs/week
-Drink at least 50 oz of water daily
-Get at least 50 grams of protein/day (by eating more fish, beans, baked or broiled chicken, etc.)

Alright ladies let's see how many inches we can retain by summer!!!
 
My first plan of action is to get more involved with posting :grin:
continue to eat healthier
take vitamins more regularly
Definitely continue with ayervedic powders
wash and rollerset twice per week
as little heat as possible
and most importantly a positive mental attitude :yep:

-Drink at least 48 oz of water- hoping to increase to 64 oz. by the summer
-Wash once a week and DC
-Not buy ANYMORE products
-Moisturize daily
-Finish off my Surge
-No direct heat
-Low manipulation styles (buns and twists)

use protective styling as often as possible, two strand twist, bun, puff
My Elixir every other night and message scalp

clean my home more often "my grand baby is like a world wind":lachen:

I plan to continue doing what I've been doing, since it has been successful for me:

  • Moisturize daily
  • Wear my hair up 3 weeks out of the month
  • Use heat only once a month to check length
I'm keeping it simple. :grin:

Protective style my butt off
Take vits more consistently
Work out 3 or more times a week
Eat alot better
Pray more

I'm reading a book by Donald Trump (Think Big and Kick *ss) which states that if something is really important to you, you have to dedicate time to develop it everyday no matter what!

When is your birthday? Mine is August 15th (LEO's rock :weird:) I totally forgot to mention food/water, but I agree both are important for max results!

I was just thinking about this last night. I'm going to keep up what I'm doing because I'm seeing results! I was thinking that I don't need to add or change anything, just remain consistent. I'm fairly new at this so I'm not burnt out yet. Hopefully I can maintain these 13 weeks too. I did add something to my regimen...saturating my hair in aloe vera gel every day. It seems to be adding strength and it's keeping my hair well balanced.

Are you a newbie? If so, WELCOME!

I have one bottle of Surge left that I need to use up also. I plan to use use most of my products before jumping on any more bandwagons.

The only thing I'm allowing myself to buy in the regular is MN, because I go thru 2 tubes per week.

Everything comes alive in Spring:

  • I plan on spritzing my hair twice a day (once with water and once with Scurl)
  • Plan on exercising 4 times a week and get back to running.
  • Deep condition with heat at least once a week.
  • Drinking more water
  • Regularly taking my vitamins
  • USE MN and Aut gro oil everyday

I like this!

-Start using the good ol' MTG again 3x per week
-Protective styling during the week(maybe bunning or a phony pony)
-No more straightening during this Spring Period
-Deep Condition 2x per week
-Go back to the Biotin Pills that helped me so much in the beginning

Basically, I need to get back to how I was at the beginning of this growth thing with the MTG and biotin:grin:

-DC's 1x a week
-Pray :yep: (it works, ask and you shall receive)
-Exercise 4-5x a week
-Take those vits (biotin, b-50 complex, MSM, EPO, multi and calcium)
-Eat at least 5 fruits and veggies a day
-High protein diet (tuna, eggs, almonds, protein shakes and beans mostly)
-Only use heat 1x a month
-Protect, protect, protect and oh yea, protect

I agree if it is working, then keep doing it!

I have a bottle of pure aloe vera gel that I've never used. :rolleyes: Do you use this as a leave-in or as a pre-poo meaning that you rinse/wash it out afterwards.

Your natural hair looks full and beautiful!

I am going to basically do the same thing accept for wear my braidout from my cornrows about once a week! Drink my Gallon of water a day and work out and stay focused with eating healthy!
 
Take my vitamins
Use that PIBBS 514 I bought :look:
Deep Condition
Add a rinse to my hair
Watch my Macheri Video again and rollerset afterwards :look:
Use my Alma oil atleast once or twice a week
 
Moisturize Daily (Morning, Noon, Night)
Wash and Deep Con 2 x wk
Stretch my relaxers for 12 wks only (too much to handle after that)
Wear more pin ups to reach my next goal of BSL
Take my vitamins
Exercise 4 days per wk
Drink lots of water and green tea
Continue using my indian oils
 
Drink water :wallbash:
Exercise 3-5x a week
Deep Condition on weekly basis again
Use Original MTG 3-5x a week
No direct heat (i.e. Blowdryers and flatirons) -Just using my Pibbs and Curlformers
No more new products until I finish what I got...:rolleyes:
