I am so over putting leave ins, gels, basically any styling aids in my hair! I started using one item- Coconut Papaya Hair Butter on my hair! I see that it wasn't necessary to put all of the other stuff in my hair. My hair still maintains its style AND it's so much softer.

Someone needs to help me with this rule when it comes to conditioners :(

where is that from?

I'm a one item girl too. I apply my oil/butter mix to damp hair. I am so not a PJ.

I so agree with you on this, I have been just using a homemade jojoba oil gel and my hair has never looked or felt better, I hope to never have to buy any more styling products :look:.

I just made whipped shea butter and its....

heavenly!

I agree, putting lots of stuff on my hair does nothing but make it gunky. I have a lot of products (trial and error trying to find something that "works" well), but I generally use just one at a time, 2 max rarely. In fact, I just washed my twists and set them on rollers to dry (to see if drying them stretched will cut down on tangling) and there's nothing on my hair now. I'll put a little oil on it when I separate the twists tomorrow.

I agree with you also. I normally don't use anything on my hair except a serum when flat ironing. But now that I have these bleached highlights, I do use a leave-in conditioner, but that's about it.

YUP!!:grin: After seeing how much these waist length ladies were putting in their hair, I was like WHY am I putting sooo much mess in my hair. Now my hair has that SWANG to it when the wind blows--and it's just a healthy

OT, but I want to SOOO thank you for your hair pics. Seeing your 'tight' two strand twists inspired me! I have been tight twisting my hair after washing (about 6 twists) and it looks so much better and my twistouts are :reddancer:

I don't like a lot of products either. It makes my hair feel gunky. Bubblin have you tried any of TL's other products? That butter looks yummy and I see their prices are reasonable.
