Hey ladies do you think that was Lela Rochon's hair in waiting to exhale I ask that because I am looking at it right now

I'm pretty certain that it was a hair fall. But it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, wasnt it? I have pics of my hair fall in my Fokti, but here are a few just to show you how natural it can look.

Oh, and the hair fall is by Sensationnel. It is called an "instant weave" and the style # is HZ 8003. It is human hair.

I'm confused, what is a hair fall? And how does instant weave work?

Thanks guys.

The fall looks very natural because it doesnt cover your entire head (unlike a full wig). You have to leave out the hair in the front. I leave out about one/fourth of hair.... just part the front off and flip it up. Then i put my other hair into a flattened ponytail or bobby pin, put on a stocking cap, and then slip the hair fall on. There is a comb at the top and bottom of the fall, and thats how you secure it to your head. I also add a few hair pins. Then I comb my own hair back over it. I usually put a few curls in my own hair with hot rollers, so that it looks like the curls from the hall. Its a perfect match, color and texture-wise, so it blends in really naturally, and ppl always think its my hair.

I love that darn fall.... just so easy to throw on and off at any given moment. Its def. saved me from a few hair catastophes on more than one occasion. The only thing you have to worry about is that front section of ure own hair looking nice, fresh, clean, silky, etc.

When I first bought this particular fall, I ended up trying it on, and then decided to cut about 4 rows of the tracks out, because it was a little bit too full for me. After that, it was perfect.

I love this hair fall, because i can curl/comb/manipulate the hair as much as i want without fearing damage or anything like that. But you dont have the commitment of sewn-in tracks. Its just sooo convenient. :)

Thank u so much for the info in such detail. I think this will also help me long transition and hide my hair during the winter.:D My nape is too short for a phony pony. This will certainly hide that flaw for sure.

oooh KiniKakes, you have such good taste!! And you look like a doll! I love you all dressed up!!

I have the same fall, and I love it. I need to get one of those little photo album thingies so I can post my different looks.

I remember when the Waiting to Exhale came out Lela mentioned in a magazine article that it was a fall.

Hmmm, I'll definitely keep this in mind....I'm a 4b transitioning, so I really want something to hide all the drama. I will keep my hair pressed in the front, I wonder if this will work...

Gosh this thread is so old, lol, how on earth did it get bumped?

No problem ladies! I love that fall, it saved me on MANY occasions!!! Thats for darn sure!

Beautiful AND a smart cookie!! I didn't have to cut any tracks off mine because I have a big ole head. I'm 5' 11" tall and some change, and I can wear some hair!! Everything you say in your post is true and even after I grow my hair to the length I want, the fall will always be a staple for me because I don't have to worry about styling damage. The particular fall that you have Kini is very fine in texture, just like mine when it's freshly flat ironed or relaxed.

Great thread.

i love this fall kini!!!!!!! i have to go buy one now!!!!

Exactly!!!!!!!!!! I will still rock this fall, even if my hair is ankle length, because it is just a quick and instantly glamorous look that allows you to avoid damage and manipulation!

Here's a Couple of Bad Pictures for ya..

I'll take more pictures when my face isn't all greasy!:lachen: You could fry and egg on it, but this is the same type fall that Kini was telling us about and I Love it! They have a straight one that's past should length and human hair that I'm contemplating. Sorry for the fuzzy pictures, these were taken with my web cam. I'm going to find my digital for my online photo album. They are a wonder for saving time and wear on the hair.

Hey Kini,

I did a search for your fall and this is what I found.

That doesn't look like yours. Even if it were in black!

Yes, that's it!!!! That is the same picture on my package!!! It just looks totally different with 1b hair. Plus, remember, the front of your hair is out, and that can also change the look, depending on how you've styled your hair in the front!
