left side of my hair not growing as the right side

its frustrating a little because the right side and everywhere is growing really fast but the front on the left side is not. I just took down a weave that i had for two months and about to get braided up this friday with kinky twists.

I have this problem too except that my right side is longer by about an inch and I do sleep on my right side. Is there a solution (other than repeatedly cutting the longer side to match)?

Yep I have a similar issue except my left side is longer than the right. Idk how this could of happened. Because I'm cautious of using heat, I alternate what side I wrap my hair. I've been procastioning cutting my hair, I want to keep my apl length hair..only if its one sided...lol

J/k I will cut it eventually to even it out. :)

My right side is longer and 2x's as dense compared to my left side! I blame constant years of wrapping my hair in the same direction!

My right side is noticeably longer and thicker than my left; it's been that way for me for as long as I could remember, even after big chopping. I don't even wrap my hair. :perplexed

My right side is thicker and longer than the left. It has been this way forever. When I go to the stylist for a trim we just keep it like an assymetrical cut since it grows that way.

I have the same problem. I started sleeping with my head at the foot of my bed, because I habitually face towards edge when I sleep. It was the only way to force myself to sleep on my left side instead of my shorter right side.

My DH sleeps at the foot with me, lol. So far I've notice some improvement :-)

I came in to ask this too!

I sleep on the left and that side stays short.

yes its actually the side i sleep on the most. I was researching that and I never realize how much I sleep on the left side on my face. I turn to the opposite side and can feel (i dont know if its was in my head). But blood flowing to the other side. I will try it and see what happens from this point

Hmm, I always wondered why that was. My left side is slightly longer than my right, I was inspecting the front of my hair he other day and noticed that the left side right above my left eyebrow is slightly longer than the right. I sleep on my left side most of the time but I usually switch sides depending on which side I am most comfortable on.
