Have you found a conditioner/leave in that not only makes your hair soft when wet but also when it dries?? I haven't yet =(..what should i try?

I use NTM and don't wash out my hair is very soft when I use this. I use Cantu Leave in on my puffs.

I second the Giovanni^^

I use it alot as a leave-in and it has become a staple for me; my hair feels instantly softer and more moist the moment I put it on my freshly washed, still-wet hair. :yep:

I used to buy mine in Whole Foods but I have seen it in some Targets/Walmarts now. For instance, in my local Walmart it's on the aisle opposite the facial mosturizers in a section with J/A/S/O/N and other "natural" products. Not the bigger shampoo section.

Are you putting anything else in your hair after washing it or on a daily basis? Just checking to make sure you don't have product buildup that may be keeping you from reaping the benefits of the leave-ins you've been trying thus far. Everyone's hair is different, but for me my hair reacts best to my leave-ins when I have clarifed, deep conditioned and put the leave-in on while my hair is soaking wet. And then seal with a tiny amount of oil such as jojoba. If I wanna add more leave-in to my hair I do it after rinsing it in the shower, while my hair is wet. But there is little other product on my hair in between washes other than the leave-in and a tiny bit of oil. HTH....:drunk:

I use to use Kinky Curly Knot Today. It was amazing but the price was killing me. Now I use Talia Waajad Protective Mist Bodifier. This is really good too :) Def gonna be a staple

Giovanni Direct Leave in, a little rubbed lightly between your palms and massaged on, seal with EVOO or CO the absolute best, I travelled without mine and have not been able to find ANYTHING to match it

Giovanni leave in doesn't work all that welll for me it seems "foamy":ohwell:, I have been leaving in some of my regular conditioners recently ( AO White Camelia, EO Essential ALoe and Lavender) they work well with my aloe vera gel then sealed with an oils mix (castor, evoo, grapeseed, coconut:lick:). I haven't found the perfect leave in for straight hair yet, but i raaaarely straighten.

Giovanni works okay for me but I get better results by leaving in my AO conditioners - White Camillia or HSR then seal with oil.

If you do internet purchases you can get them on iherb.com- thats where I buy mine.

Kinky-Curly Knot Today has been the best leave in I've tried :yep:

I checked her website!

Valleygirl's products are sold at Whole Foods! OMG, I'm so proud of her! Six some odd years in the making!!! :trampolin

Now I can go try them!

HSR sealed with oil. I hate the smell, but I can't find anything else that works as well for an equal price.

Knot today left my hair crunchy :/

I haven't been using it long enough to give a full review but so far I'm liking Mane 'n Tail Moisturizer-Texturizer conditioner as a leave-in. I've been mixing it with water and spritzing my cornrows and twists and they are so soft.

I normally twist my hair with a mixture of YTCucumbers and 3 tablespoons of whatever butter I am using at the time. SOFT and SHINY hair is what I get every time:)

I have to agree w/the Kinky Curly Knot Today recs, it works pretty good especially if I plan on straightening. For curly styles I like something heavier, I have been using Hairveda Moist 24/7 or Qhemet AOHC as my leave-ins.

I liked J Beverly Hills Leave-In and Ion Finishing Detangler. Both of these are creamy leave-ins. I texlaxed 2 months ago and will still use these on my relaxed hair.

I have to agree on the Giovanni Direct Leave-In rec, it's wonderful and my hair is instantly softer. And I love the creamy consistency. HTH
