Hi Ladies!

I am trying to figure out some protective styles and I feel like until my hair grows long enough for a bun that I am stuck:wallbash:. Any ideas, suggestions, pictures, success stories!

I used braids and a weave to get to SL. I am going to continue wearing braids until June and hopefully by then My hair will be long enough for braid-outs and bunning. Im also thinking of purchasing a wig or two...

Braids or half wigs. But, your bob is the awesome!

I wear half wigs.

I read somewhere that short hair is considered a protective style in and of its self.

Confession......I read it all the time, but I must confess I have no idea what a half wig is :ohwell:

Its a wig that doesn't completely cover your head. You leave some of your hair out and blend it into the wig. They are called half wigs, 3/4 wigs, or falls.

I love bobs

Currently, I do anythign that keep my bangs out of my face. So headbands are my friends as protective styles. Also, I do a half-up-half-down thing where the top half is in a messy updo w/ a cute barrette/clip. The hair in the back isn't a problem and stays in place as long as it's rollerset and trimmed nicely.

I can pull the back into a pony-tail, but there's still too much pulling so I plan let it grow out a bit more before wearing low tails w/ a cute barrette :yep:
